The first big event while we were in Washington was my brother, Colby's Wedding. I didn't take many pictures, and have none of the bride and groom, but I snapped a couple pictures at the reception. Congrats Colby and Melissa.
I'm also almost positive this is the only picture from the entire wedding day that Asher was looking at the camera and smiling! I guess 18 month olds aren't meant to pose for wedding pictures!
We got to the reception and Bridger wasn't feeling very well. He found this bench, and after a little while he was fine!
This trip was planned so we could Baptize Cambree. She turned eight in March, and we asked if she wanted to get baptized on her birthday in Kentucky in March with maybe a few family members, or if she wanted to wait until summer and do it in Washington where we knew most of our family would be able to attend. She chose to wait. I think it ended up being a longer wait then she realized, because she asked numerous times why she had to wait so long to be baptized. Anyway, she originally wanted to be baptized on Daddy's birthday which is June 30th, but Colby ended up getting engaged, and for David to be at both the wedding and the baptism we had to come up with a different date. So Cambree settled on Father's Day, so that's what we did. She was baptized on Sunday June 21st, which was also Father's Day! Everything was perfect and we loved having so many family and friends show up to support our Cambree!
Our primary embroidered these CTR towels for all the kids turning eight this year! Such a cute idea!
It was such a great evening and my tears still flow just thinking about it. We are so proud of the choice Cambree made to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and take this very important step in the Eternal Plan of Happiness!
